Gordo!

As many of you know there is a Wilkerson tradition in which a brownie, which is a very small elf, stays at each of the Wilkerson's homes. Our brownie's name is Gordo, whom Todd and I love very much! This year was his first year being our brownie (obviously), and he gave us many wonderful surprises! Things just as little as a few candies to more exciting gifts like movies! One of our fun and unique gifts were Musical Christmas Mugs! Gordo brought us some mugs for hot chocolate, but to our surprise they were musical! As soon as you lift the mug up off of the table it starts playing tunes to Christmas songs! They are so fun! However, after our first night of having hot cocoa in them, Todd decided they could get annoying.... lol. You pick up your cup to have a drink and it goes "jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the.." as you put it down for a minute, then you take another small sip and.."jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle.." ha! It's pretty hilarious if you ask me, especially seeing Todd's reaction to the repetitive Christmas tunes. But also it gives lots of giggles and good laughs!

After the first time I had washed them, I tipped them upside down on the counter to dry. After a minute or two the music will just stop playing. Later that night we had watched a movie and then Todd went in the kitchen, flipped on the light, and was surprised by the blast of Christmas music as soon as he turned on the light. We both had a good laugh.
